Big change in bureaucracy of Uttarakhand, transfer of 33 IAS and 24 PCS officers

There has been a major administrative reshuffle in Uttarakhand. The government has transferred 33 IAS and 24 PCS officers. The government headed by Pushkar Singh Dhami issued two separate orders late at night and approved the transfer of 57 officers. The order states that all officers are transferred with immediate effect. In such a situation, the officers will have to join the new posting soon.

1992 batch officer and Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan has been taken charge of the Watershed Department and Dilip Javalkar, an officer of 2003, has been given this responsibility. Delhi was earlier fulfilling the responsibility of Secretary, Department of Finance, Election and Cooperation. He has now been freed from the responsibility of Secretary, Department of Cooperatives. Parag Madhukar, an officer of the Indian Forest Service, was still working as the Chief Secretary of the Watershed Department. He too has been made special secretary of the Minority Welfare Department, freeing him from this responsibility.

Collector of Pauri Garhwal changed

2012 batch officer Ashish Kumar Chauhan was the District Magistrate of Pauri Garhwal till now. He has now been removed from this post and has been made the director of Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority. He has also been given the responsibility of the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare. In place of Ashish Kumar, 2012 batch officer Swati S Bhadoria has been made the District Magistrate of Pauri Garhwal. Swati was earlier handling the responsibility of Additional Secretary, Language, Technical Education and Irrigation Department of the Governor. Reena Joshi, a 2013 batch officer in place of Swati, has been made Additional Secretary to the Governor.

The District Magistrate of Champawat, Uttarkashi also changed

Navneet Pandey, an officer of 2015 batch, has been removed from the post of District Magistrate of Champawat. He has been made Additional Secretary of the Department of Personnel and Vigilance. Saurabh Gaharwar, an officer of 2016 batch, has also been given the responsibility of Sidkul management by removing the post of District Magistrate of Rudraprayag. He will also serve as the Chief PMGSY officer of Uttarakhand. Mehraban Singh Bisht, an officer of 2016 batch, has also been removed from the post of Uttarkashi District Magistrate and has been made Additional Secretary of the Department of Energy and Cooperation.
