• Patna. The Bihar government on Tuesday approved 22 agendas in an important meeting of the State Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, many of which are historic. Especially for women government personnel, this meeting brought a new hope, because now they will be provided private houses on lease near their workplace.
  • Women personnel will get accommodation on lease
  • For the first time, the state government is going to provide accommodation around their posting site to women employees. This step has been taken keeping both women empowerment and workplace facilities. The draft of this scheme prepared by the General Administration Department has been approved by the cabinet.
  • The benefit of this facility will be given to women government employees who are working in teachers, soldiers or any other department. However, they will not be provided with housing allowance.
  • Housing Selection Process:
  • A five -member committee will be formed under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate in each district.
  • Member Secretary will be sub -divisional officer.
  • Other members: SP, local body representative and Executive Engineer of Building Construction Department.
  • This committee will inspect the buildings applied for rent and decide which building is suitable.
  • Facilities like electricity, water, toilets will be mandatory in the building.
  • Amendment of birth and death registration system in Bihar
  • By revising the Bihar Birth-Musty Registration Rules of 1999, it is now named “Bihar Birth and Death Registration (Amendment) Rules, 2025”.
    Now these services will be available in digitized form and it will be even easier to get birth or death certificate.
  • What will happen with this change?
  • Certificate of date of birth and location will be found digitally.
  • The process for various government works like driving license, passport, admission in educational institutions and adding names to the voter list will be simple.
  • Databases will be built at the national and state levels.
  • Every panchayat will have lower class clerk
  • Another major decision was taken for administrative reforms at the panchayat level. Now of the state 8093 panchayats There will be appointment of low -class clerks.
  • Their responsibility will be:
  • Implementation of panchayat level schemes.
  • Keeping an account of the schemes.
  • Posting in Panchayat Sarkar Bhavan or any other panchayat office.
  • This restoration will be under the clerical cadre (recruitment and service) Rules, 2018.
  • New posts in the Directorate of Agricultural Marketing
  • The government has set up a “Directorate of Agriculture Marketing” in the Department of Agriculture for the Value Edition in Agricultural Products. 14 posts have been approved for this. This directorate will help farmers in tasks like providing better market prices, production processing and branding.

  • Mega Skill Center: Future key for youth
  • Being established in the state Mega skill centers Through 21,600 youth will be given state -of -the -art skill training in the next five years.

  • Big change in advertising rules
  • The cabinet has also approved “Advertising Rules (Amendment), 2025” in the Bihar Municipal Corporation area. Now rates will be fixed for advertisements in the municipal body area.

  • Under the Prime Minister’s Tribal Tribal Justice Emperor (PM-Janman), nine Scheduled Tribes communities of Bihar will get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. These communities include:

  • Sports injury unit: Sport Inzuri Unit has been started at Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Bone Super Specialty Hospital in Patna. It has approved 20 beds and 36 new posts.
  • Flood management: Water Resources Department has received approval of ₹ 100 crore for two new projects, including a embankment and one anti -erosion work.
  • Doctors dismissal: The state government has dismissed 7 doctors who are absent from duty.
