The company gave information about updating its AI tool and new features through a press release. The company said that the new feature of AI Tool will alert users with spam calls and messages.
The company said that the new Spam Alert System works with the help of Artificial Intelligence. This feature will alert users not only in India but also with calls and spam messages coming from the international network. The most important thing about the spam alert system tool is that users will get spam equilibrium or calls alert in their language only.
AI tool will get 10 languages support
Airtel’s new updates will directly benefit millions of mobile users across the country. Users can now easily understand spam related warings and at the same time it will be easy to answer them. The company has currently introduced this feature with 10 languages in the initial phase which includes Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, Urdu and Punjabi language. According to the company, more languages will be supported in future.
Spam calls declined
Airtel has currently introduced the support of this feature only for Andreode users. If you are using Android phones and you have a SIM of Airtel, then the risk of fraud from spam messages and spam calls may be reduced. Let us tell you that Airtel launched its AI Powered Tool in September 2024. Since the launch, this feature has so far detected about 27.5 billion spam calls. Since the arrival of this tool of the company, the upcoming spam calls to customers have fallen by about 16 percent.
