Patna. The Bihar Police Department has resumed the process of filling 19,838 vacant posts of the constable. The written examination for this much awaited recruitment will be held in a total of six stages, which will start from July 16 and the final phase will be concluded on 3 August. He informed that a total of 627 examination centers have been set up in 38 districts across the state for conducting written examination. Every day there will be an examination in the same shift, in which about 3 to 3 and a half lakh candidates are expected to attend. Examination dates have been fixed: examinations will be held on 16 July, 20 July, 23 July, July 27, July 30 and August 3.
During the press conference, ADG Kumar said that strict arrangements have been made to successfully and impartially to this examination. All the District Magistrates (DM) have been appointed as the examination coordinator and all the Superintendents of Police (SP) as co-coordinator to ensure proper coordination and monitoring.
Admit Card and Security Management
He further informed that the candidates will be able to download their admit card from the official website from June 20. All cyber police stations have been alerted to ensure transparency and safety in the examination. Also, the social media branch of the Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) has also been instructed to be alert. Hostels, lodges and other public locations will also be specially monitored so that there is no disturbance.
Strict arrangements to stop paper leaks
Very strict arrangements have been made to prevent the possibility of any type of paper leak. Jammers will be installed at examination centers to neutralize mobile networks and Wi-Fi signals. All the candidates will be photographed at the examination center and a short video of them will also be recorded so that there is no difficulty in any kind of identification in future.
Wireless communication system has been arranged for quick communication with the central inspector. No candidate will be allowed to carry any personal item with him at the examination center. For use in the examination, a pen will also be provided at the center along with the question paper.
