New Delhi: Big news has emerged about Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla. His space mission has been postponed till 10 June. PTI has given this information by quoting a spokesperson of AXIOM Space. According to the information received, the mission of the Axiom Space for the International Space Station with Indian astronaut Shubhmanshu Shukla has been extended till June 10.

When was the mission going to start?

Earlier this space flight was to be launched on 8 June from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida via Falcon-9 rocket. However, the mission has been postponed for two days. Explain that Captain Shukla is part of the first team of Indian astronauts trained for human space flight, in which Captain Prashant Balakrishnan Nair is acting as his backup.

Apart from Pilot Shukla of the AXIOM -4 mission, other crew members include Slavosz Ujnanski -Vicenivsky of Poland and Tibor Capu, Hungary. It is the first visit to the International Space Station in the history of both European countries, and is the second government-posed human space flight mission in 40 years. Veteran American astronaut Paigi Whiteson will be the commander of the Ex-4 mission.

What is mission?

Once docked, astronauts are planning to stay in the laboratory located in the classroom up to 14 days, where they will conduct science, outreach and commercial activities. The X-4 astronaut will conduct around 60 scientific studies and activities representing 31 countries during its 14-day stay at ISS.

Shukla is ready to conduct special food and nutritional experiments developed under cooperation between the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) in collaboration with NASA. Shukla’s participation in this mission is a matter of pride for India. This mission is very special for India as Shubhanshu Shukla will be the first Indian passenger to go to space after 1984. At the same time, India Mission is going to launch Gaganyaan in the year 2026. Through this mission, we will get to make a lot of plans for the future. (Input: PTI)
