Bihar Agricultural University has been taken by the state in NAAC’s ‘A’ grade, education, research and innovation.

Deputy Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said that Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour has been recognized by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). This is not only a proof of the excellence of the university, but has also proved to be a milestone for the entire state. Now Bihar seems to be standing firmly in the queue of the leading states of the country in the field of higher education, research and innovation.

The NAAC expert team visited Bihar Agricultural University from 28 to 30 May. During this period, every aspect related to educational, administrative, research, infrastructure and social expansion was closely evaluated. Earning a CGPA of 3.08 in a short time of just 15 years is a direct proof of the continuous progress, dedication and loyalty of the university. This achievement shows that Bihar Agricultural University is not limited only to knowledge production, but has also become a strong partner in national development.

This ‘A’ grade has proved that the university administration has not only accepted the standards of transparency, innovation, inclusion and quality, but has also implemented them. Minister Shri Sinha also said on the occasion that this success shows the university strategy and implementation in accordance with the spirit of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Bihar Agricultural Roadmap and active leadership of the state government have played an important role in this direction. The university has converted its course into multi-disciplinary, skill-based and innovative-inspired form, which was particularly appreciated by the NAAC team.

The courses are now giving special importance to result-based education, experience-based learning and industry-consumption cooperation. Students are now getting the benefit of facilities like participating in research from initial levels, selecting various subjects and credit transfer.
