Bihar Police Recruitment: There is great news for the youth preparing for jobs in Bihar Police Department. The recruitment process for a total of 4361 posts of Driver Constable in Bihar Police is going to start very soon. Jitendra Kumar, president of the Central Selection Board (constable recruitment), made an official announcement in a press conference held on Thursday.
He informed that interested candidates will be able to apply online from 21 July to 20 August 2025. The application process will only be through the official website of the council.
Reservation, qualification and age limit for women
A total of 1400 posts in this recruitment campaign have been reserved for women, so that women candidates can get big relief and opportunities. The minimum age has been fixed at 20 years and maximum age of 25 years for the candidates applying. However, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Women’s class will be given exemption in the maximum age limit as per government rules.

Chairman Jitendra Kumar clarified that the driver soldier will be reinstated in a completely transparent and time -bound manner. All procedures will be operated by digital mediums so that there is no possibility of any kind of disturbance. He also informed that detailed notifications and instructions will be released on the board website very soon, including the selection process, physical norms, driving test information, and other important guidelines.
