  • B Type Center – These 11 are being built in other districts, on which 82 crore 37 lakh 57 thousand rupees are being spent.
  • The construction work of 6 A type and 9B type centers has been completed so far. Rapid work is going on at the remaining centers.

  • These centers are being fully equipped with modern facilities. The constructed area of ​​each building is 25,774 sqm and these are three -storey buildings. Solar panels have been installed on the roofs for the purpose of energy conservation. The special thing is that relief operations are not interrupted during the disaster, so there is also the facility of SDRF (State Disaster Response Force) personnel and officers.

  • The Building Construction Department is not only a disaster response center, but also a flood shelter for safe stay during floods. Work has been completed at 96 places and work at 4 places (Shivhar, Eastern Champaran, Madhubani) is running at a rapid pace. Each shelter is costing about Rs 1 crore. These places will not only provide security to people at the time of floods, but will also become a center of relief distribution.
