Bihar will get 6 new airports, airports will be built in these cities, check details
Bihar There have been very big and important news for crores of people on Tuesday. Officials said that 6 more cities in Bihar will get air connectivity. On Tuesday, the State Cabinet on Tuesday gave its approval to sign an agreement with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) in the matter. He said that new airports will be developed in Madhubani, Supaul’s Birpur, Munger, Valmiki Nagar of Bettiah, Muzaffarpur and Saharsa under the Center’s regional connectivity scheme ‘Udaan’. He said that the cabinet headed by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has given its approval to sign a memorandum between the State Aviation Directorate and AAI for the development of the airport.
5 star hotels will be built in Patna
Additional Chief Secretary S.K. Siddharth said, “A total of Rs 150 crore has been allocated, with Rs 25 crore for the development of each airport.” This decision was taken a few months before the assembly elections in the state. He said that the cabinet has also approved the issue of letter of Award (LOA) to Kumar Infrastrade Enterprises Limited for the construction of 5 Star Hotel near Income Tax Golambar in Patna. He said, “The hotel will be developed on public-private participation (PPP) mode and land will be given on 90 years of lease. The bidding process is also being finalized for the construction of two and 5 star hotels near Bankipur bus stand in Patna and R Golambar in Patna.”
Cabinet set MSP for gram, mustard and lentils
Siddharth said that the cabinet has also fixed Rs 5650 for gram, Rs 5950 for mustard and Rs 6700 for lentils, MSP. It was also decided that the contract of 1717 retired military personnel admitted to Special Assistant Police (SAP) will be increased to 2025-26. The cabinet also approved the guidelines for recruitment of clerks and libraries in government schools and libraries. “Under the new rules, 50 percent of the clerical posts in the education department will now be filled through compassionate appointment, while the remaining 50 percent will be filled through direct recruitment,” the official said.
