Bike rider dragged the truck dragging up to 100 meters

Udupi: On Monday evening near Ambalpdi Junction in Udupi, Karnataka, a bike driver hit a two -wheeler of a bike driver, killing him on the spot. The deceased’s name was Pradeep Kumar (33). The rider’s head was badly crushed due to the collision. The truck dragged him to about 100 meters from the scene. The police have registered the case.

Carelessly driving truck

According to the police, the accident occurred at around 6:50 pm near Ambalapdi Junction on National Highway 66 Karwali bypass-Kinnimuli Service Road. It is alleged that the truck driver Luv Patil was driving at Kinnimulki from Karwali bypass with speed and carelessness and hit a motorcycle. Pradeep Kumar was driving a motorcycle in the same direction. Pradeep Kumar fell on the road with a motorcycle due to the collision and serious head injuries were caused, causing him to die on the spot.

Case filed against NHAI and contractor

The accident occurred due to the negligence of the contractor working as a flyover near NHAI and Ambalpdi Junction, the accident occurred due to the alleged rapid and negligent lorry on the pits filled with 16 -wheeler. Based on the complaint of Sudhir, resident of Shivpura, Karkala, a case has been registered under sections 281 and 106 (1) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) at Udupi Traffic Police Station.
