BJP’s big victory in Uttarakhand panchayat elections
The results of the recently concluded three -tier panchayat elections in Uttarakhand are now coming out. According to the information, BJP and supported candidates have won more than 200 seats out of total 358 seats in district panchayats in different districts. Apart from this, voters have also supported 83 Congress -backed candidates. The same independent candidates who have got success in this election are also inclined towards the Bharatiya Janata Party. Many of these candidates have also publicly announced support to BJP. In the three -tier panchayat elections, the people of Uttarakhand have won the Gram Panchayat, Kshetra Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat, BJP -backed candidates at all three levels.

What did the media in -charge of BJP say
Let us tell you that political parties do not directly participate in the panchayat elections. Candidates stand as an independent candidate and contest elections on election symbols allotted by the State Election Commission. Political parties, however, support the candidates contesting elections. In the election, the BJP completely sidelined familyism. Manveer Singh Chauhan, the media in -charge of the BJP’s state unit, said in this regard that his party does not believe in familyism and no such candidate had given his support to any such candidate.
