History of Boeing’s aircraft accidents.
Boeing, a name in the world that has been touching the heights of the sky, but for the last few years it has been in trouble with its credibility. Boeing is an American company, which is famous for creating airplanes, rotcrafts, rockets, satellites and missiles. Its headquarters was earlier in Chicago, Illinois, but now it is in Virginia. Painful accident in Ahmedabad (June 12, 2025)
A heartbreaking accident occurred in Ahmedabad on Thursday, 12 June 2025. Air India’s Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, who was flying to London’s Gatwick Airport. He crashed in Meghani area of Ahmedabad a few minutes after the flight. The aircraft consisted of 242 people, including 169 Indians, 53 British, seven Portuguese and one Canadian citizens. Soon after this accident, a fierce fire broke out in the aircraft, and there was smoke and smoke. Only one passenger survived in this accident and the remaining 241 people died.
Senegal’s accident (2024)
A Boeing 737 aircraft failed to fly in Senegal and slipped from the runway and entered the bushes. The aircraft caught fire and suffered severe damage.
South Korea’s accident (December 2024)
A Boeing aircraft in South Korea slipped from the runway and hit the concrete wall. Slired in the flames, 179 out of 181 people were killed in this aircraft, including a three -year -old innocent.
Lithuania incident (November 2024)
A Boeing 737 cargo aircraft in Lithuania collided with a house uncontrollably while landing. One person died in this accident and three people were injured.
Latam Airlines flight (March 2024):
A Boeing 787 aircraft going from Sydney to Auckland suddenly fell rapidly, injuring more than 50 passengers. The aircraft had 263 passengers and 9 crew members.
Alaska Airlines scary accident (January 2024):
A door of Alaska Airlines’s Boeing 737 Max 9 suddenly opened at a height of 16,000 feet. There was no harm to the passengers in this accident, but this incident was no less than a nightmare for the passengers.
Black round of Boeing 737 Max (2018-2019)
In October 2018, a Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft fell into Java Sagar in Indonesia, killing 189 people. After this, in March 2019, one and 737 Max 8 accidents in Ethiopia, in which 157 people lost their lives. Investigation revealed that the flight control system of the aircraft was caused by both accidents. These accidents maligned Boeing so much that the company had to compromise $ 1.1 billion with the US justice department, and 737 Max aircraft were banned to fly for about two years.
Safety investigation and West Warning
In May 2024, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) launched a new investigation against Boeing. According to the Wall Street Journal report, the investigation was to find out whether Boeing completed the necessary security inspections on its 787 Dreamliner aircraft? FAA had expressed suspicion that Boeing employees had left some inspections and manipulated the records.
Meanwhile, former Boeing’s senior manager and Foundation of Aviation Safety Executive Director Ed Piercene made serious allegations against the company. He told BBC Radio 4 that Boeing’s aircraft are not safe and have many flaws. Piercene also demanded the authorities to initiate a criminal inquiry against the company. He says that Boeing failed to complete the FAA deadline and has requested to extend the deadline. Piercene’s warning is clear- ‘Time is over, now action is needed’.
