Bollywood celebs expressed grief over Uttarkashi disaster

The disastrous floods and disadvantages due to cloudburst in Dharali area of Uttarakhand have worried the entire country. Many videos of the accident came out, after seeing which Bollywood celebs were also seen expressing their concern. Many Bollywood celebrities have expressed their concerns from many Sara Ali Khan to Vivek Oberoi on the incident of cloudburst in Uttarkashi and prayed for the affected families and urged people to be safe.

Sara Ali Khan shared helpline number

Sara Ali Khan expressed concern over the incident on Instagram. He wrote, “I have condolences to all people affected by the incident of Uttarakhand. I pray for everyone’s safety, strength and health benefits.” Along with this, Sara has also given emergency phone numbers to help in relief work. In another Instagram story, he wrote, “Uttarkashi District Emergency Operations Center has released the following emergency numbers: 01374222126, 01374222722, 9456556431.”

Sonu Sood has also expressed grief over the Uttarkashi disaster. The actor wrote in his post- ‘The mind is distressed due to the devastating floods and cloudburst in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. Prayer for every person affected. Now the time has come for the whole country to unite – while the government is doing its work, we should personally stand for every person who has lost his home, his livelihood and his life. ‘

Vivek Oberoi also expressed grief

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi also resorted to his X handle to express grief over the cloudburst incident in Uttarakhand on Tuesday. He wrote, “I am shocked and sad to hear about the tragic incident of cloudburst in Uttarakhand. My condolences and prayers are with the people of Dharali in Uttarkashi, who are struggling with this disastrous incident. All those affected by rescue and relief efforts get hope and security.”

Bhumi Pednekar expressed concern

Bhumi Pednekar has also expressed concern about the Uttarkashi disaster. He shared a post about the sudden change in climate and expressed concern. In its post, Bhoomi wrote- ‘What is happening in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand is heartbreaking.’

Many villages flowed in Dharali

On Tuesday, several houses were swept away in Dharali village situated at a height located on the road leading to Gangotri due to a sudden flood due to cloudburst, which killed at least four people. Dharali has many hotels, restaurants and homestays, which is a famous place for pilgrims and tourists visiting Gangotri. On the other hand, India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rain in many districts of Uttarakhand for Wednesday.
