Fire was set in 1982

According to a report by the Conde Nast Traveller, Mukesh Mills was founded in the early 1990s by Mooljibhai Madhwani, owner of East African Hardware Limited. This is when many mills were built in the surrounding areas of Mumbai. This mill was built on the banks of the sea and during this time there was no other mill around it. Years later in 1982, the mill caught fire and many laborers working in it were killed. The campus was also completely ruined.

Bipasha Basu was to do a scene of the film ‘Pavement’, which was being shot in Mukesh Mills itself. During this time she was severely scared and left the shooting. He had said- ‘I had to shoot for the pavement in Mukesh Mills. It was considered scary. I had to shoot in the second floor of the campus. I usually did not forget my dialogue, but that day I was alone in one room and all the rest were in another room. I had to speak while moving forward, during the time I felt as if I was stopping something. I was taken out of the set and gave holy water and similar things. ‘

Kamya Punjabi also mentioned the scary incident

Kamya Punjabi, while sharing his experience of working in Mukesh Mills in a conversation with India Forums, said that he lost his precious items on the very first day of shooting and then his car also deteriorated. But, she was stunned when a girl who worked as prisoners in the mental asylum suddenly started reacting as if she had a ghost. His voice became masculine and she completely changed. I wanted to see the girl, but I was stopped from going to her. Kamya said that she was so scared of the incident that she had left the idea of ​​going there again.
