All India Brahmin Federation is the most effective, leading and powerful organization of the Brahmin community of the country, which is engaged for the welfare of the Brahmin community in different states of the entire country. 40 years of the establishment of the Federation have been completed and on this occasion, 23rd edition was organized in Haridwar. A special session is being organized on 24 November 2024. During the 40 years of its establishment, the Federation has done national and social work and has also registered many achievements. National Secretary of the Federation, Sandeep Sharma. Told that all the preparations are being completed in Haridwar for the 40th Foundation Day under the direction of Pandit Padam Prakash Sharma. Responsibilities have been handed over to the local officials and various events are being reviewed.
Senior Secretary of the Federation, Ashwani Tiwari said that the Federation was established in 1982 in New Delhi under the aegis of Delhi Brahmin Mahasabha due to the efforts of the then President Shastriji and Bhaskar Rao of Andhra Pradesh. It was registered on 21 April 1984 in Visakhapatnam.
Its basic objective has been that the Brahmin organizations of all the states of the country should work together for the upliftment of the society, and also the big Brahmin organizations of different states of the country should be added to the All India Brahmin Federation.
The Federation believes that according to Sanatan Dharma, all Brahmins should do caste work, social work and religious work.
Through All India Brahmin Federation, everyone should get a platform to raise the voice of the society.
There should be a big change in all the other Brahmin organizations with the advice of All India Brahmin Federation and the Brahmin society should move forward.
All the Brahmin organizations should get inspiration from All India Brahmin Federation and be able to successfully lead the Brahmins of the country.
Keeping these objectives in view, the then Brahmin leaders of Andhra Pradesh Dr. PB Bhatt, BSR Anjani Y Yellou, Akhil Bhaskar Rao, Andhra Pradesh, TV Srinivasan Rao, Captain VS Mani Iyer Kalpati, HE Kananjudhar Jani, Bangalore, S Ratarajan Madras, NL Upadhyay, Rajkot. , Gujarat officials established the All India Brahmin Federation.
So far, in 36 years of office, there have been 10 presidents including Bhaskar Rao Anjani, SD Sharma, R Bhatt, NL Upadhyay, VHAT Bhatt, Ramesh Chandra Sharma, Amritsar, KP Puthraiah, Devender Sharma Jammu and Kashmir, Kota Shankar Sharma Vijayawada, Telangana, PY Kulkarni, Nashik and Bhanwarlal Sharma. Presently Dr. Pradeep Jyoti is the President, Padmaprakash Sharma is the Secretary General and Keshav Rao. Kondapalli is the treasurer.
While the Brahmin Federation started with 8 states in the year of its establishment, the size of that organization is now the largest with 29 states.
In these years, by awakening the spirit of unity among different Brahmin classes of the country, the demand for reservation on economic basis was implemented, while a holiday on the birthday of Lord Parashuram was implemented in most of the states.
