Brazil President Rejects Donald Trump Offer: There is also a tussle over the tariff between the US and Brazil. Brazilian President Luiz Eneasio Lula de Silva has rejected the offer of US President Donald Trump in which Trump said that Lula could talk to him on the issue of tariffs anytime. The US President imposed a 50 percent tariff on Brazil, which has spoiled the relationship between the two countries.

The US President had told Brazilian President Luiz Enecio Lula de Silva that he could call and discuss the tariff anytime. On this, President Lula said that he will call Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi or Chinese President Xi Jinping. He said that Brazil would use all available resources and options including the World Trade Organization (WTO) to protect its interests.
