Against Chennai (CSK), he hit 33 runs in the same over of Khalil Ahmed with the help of 4 sixes and 2 fours. It was the most expensive over of this season and jointly became the fourth most expensive over in IPL history. Shepherd also scored an unbeaten 53 runs in just 14 balls and jointly scored the second fastest fifty of the IPL.

The special thing about this innings is that Shepherd scored an unbeaten 53 in just 14 balls and scored the fastest half -century for RCB. It is also jointly the second fastest fifty in IPL history. Interestingly, he also played an over 32 runs in the last season when he broke down on the Enrichnia of Delhi while playing for Mumbai Indians.
