A case has been registered against Naresh Karda, a well-known construction businessman of Nashik city, in the case of fraud of Rs. He has been arrested by the city Economic Crime Branch team. This arrest has created excitement in the construction sector. Rahul Jaiprakash Lunawat has filed a complaint in Mumbai Naka Police Station in this regard.
According to the information given by the police and according to the complaint of Lunawat, builder Naresh Karda had started a construction project in Ashoka Marg area in 2019. Lunawat and his friend Sunil Kothari were to be given two blocks of land for two blocks in this construction project. For this, Karda had taken Rs 1 crore 20 lakhs from the complainants. As the construction project did not start even after taking the booking amount, the complainants demanded money from the cards. At that time they were given vague answers. When the complainants inquired about the construction project, it came to light that no construction project exists at this place. Lunawat realized that he was cheated. After that, Lunawat demanded Karda’s money. But, as Karda refused to pay, he filed a complaint at Mumbai Naka Police Station. Accordingly, a case has been registered against Kard late on Monday (30th) night and he has been arrested. This crime has been classified under the city economic crime branch. Further investigation is being conducted by Assistant Commissioner of Police Bhagirath Deshmukh.
