Capital Delhi A large fraud of builders has surfaced in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, adjacent to it. The state government has suffered a loss of about Rs 100 crore due to this fraud being done by the builders. In fact, in Ghaziabad, the builders are handover to customers without registering the rules and regulations. This fraud is even bigger than the thinking of common people as it includes more than 10,000 flats. The government has lost hundreds of crores of revenue by doing flat handover without registration. Preparations for strict action have started after the builders catching this fraud.
Registry reduced compared to the number of flats
Keeping in mind the seriousness of the case, the administration is preparing to file an FIR against the builders. According to an NBT report, this fraud also includes big builders who gave possession of flats to customers without a completion certificate. The government had shut down stamp paper of Rs 10,000 and Rs 25,000 some time ago. Those who had stamp papers of Rs 10,000 and Rs 25,000, while filing a complaint with the government, said that the builder gave possession of the flat without registration. When the complaint was investigated, it was found that the registry has reduced compared to the number of flats in the district.
Registry was not done even after recovering stamp paper money
According to the report, the builders did not register even after recovering stamp paper from customers. The UP Finance and Revenue Department is now preparing to send notices to such builders. Even after receiving the notice, if the builders do not register the flats, then an FIR will be lodged against them. This fraud is also going on in many projects of Rajnagar Extension, Crossing Republic of Ghaziabad. Apart from this, such cases have also been reported in Indirapuram and Siddharth Vihar. People here have been living in flats for many years, but their flat has not been registered yet.
