The ministry said that the Government of Japan has agreed to include E10 Shinkansen trains in this 508 km long project. According to government information, the Bullet Train to be operated from Japanese Shinkansen Technology has just been done E5 series and E10 will be a new generation train. The Railway Ministry said, “As part of a strategic partnership between India and Japan, the government of Japan has agreed to include E10 Shinkansen trains in the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project. The special thing is that E10 trains will be started simultaneously in India and Japan.
E10 train will be equipped with new generation advanced technology
Japan’s E10 bullet trains will be equipped with a completely new and advanced technology. The top operational speed in the commercial mode of this new technology train will be 320 km per hour. Whereas, its testing speed is up to 400 km per hour. There is a plan to run the bullet train in India at a speed of 320 km per hour. Let us tell you that this train will be equipped with anti -earthquake technology. Its L -shaped guides and lateral decorations protect the train from derail. According to reports, the braking system of the E10 bullet train is being improved, which will reduce its emergency stopping distance by 15%.
How long will E10 bullet train land on the tracks
The E10 bullet train is a major improvement in terms of facility, safety and technology compared to E5, which are modern facilities giving great experience to passengers. This train will have a 2+2 seat configuration with increased legroom and privacy dividers. Each seat is expected to provide Wi-Fi facility along with USB power outlet. The prototype of the E10 bullet train will be ready by October 2027. After which its trial run will be done between 2027 and 2029. Finally, in 2030 it will be launched together on the tracks in Japan and India for commercial service.
