After the implementation of this rating system, call drops and poor internet connectivity will also be overcome in homes, offices and markets.

Call drops and bad internet overcome

Talking to PTI, TRAI chairman Anil Kumar Lahoti said that the regulator is taking the initiative to give digital connectivity rating to the printers. In today’s era, when you buy a new house or office or take it on rent, first you have to face the problem of network connectivity. You buy expensive flats or offices or take it on rent. You find that the network is not able to reach all the rooms. Wi-Fi signal is interrupting.

To overcome this problem, the telecom regulator has launched a new initiative. Now a digital connectivity rating will be released for every house, office and administrative building. Based on this rating, it will be decided which building stands on the standards of digital connectivity and who is not. Then solution will be provided for better connectivity inside the building. It is a good thing that many property developers have started working for this.

Drawing to rating property

In October last year, TRAI had talked about rating the property under Digital Connection Regulation 2024. In May, the telecom regulator drafted a mood about it. The chairman of TRAI further said that when there is a better digital connection rating, property developers can show these ratings to those who buy flats.

Anil Kumar Lahoti further said that the regulation has already been released for this rating framework. The telecom regulator has currently received a request regarding digital connectivity ratings from 5 antitoes. He further said that in view of 5G, 6G and latest technology, now digital connectivity rating has become mandatory.
