Congress demanded a special session of Parliament.

Anger is on boil across the country due to terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir and brutally killing innocent people. All the people and political parties are together against terror and the terrorists and their masters are demanding strict action against Pakistan. Meanwhile, the Congress party has now demanded that a special session of Parliament be called for the Pahalgam attack. Congress President and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi have written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding a special session.

Congress President and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting that a special session of both houses of Parliament be called as soon as possible to demonstrate collective will power to deal with the situation arising out of the cruel terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April 2025.

At the same time, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting that a special session of both houses of Parliament be called as soon as possible. The letter states, “In this important time, India should show that we are always united against terrorism.
