Battle of cancer and loneliness

During treatment in New York, Manisha faced not only from the disease but also from the truth of relationships. He told that friends whom he had understood the most, was not with him in this difficult time. He said in an interview to NDTV, “The party friends, the travel people … there was no one to sit in pain.” He also shared that despite being financially prosperous, his big Koirala family also did not come to meet him. He was with him, only his parents, brothers and sister-in-law, the same people who stood with him in every situation. Instead of breaking them from inside, the same experience took them to self -realization. Manisha took therapy, understood herself and changed her priorities. He said emotionally, ‘Now my close family comes first in my life, everyone else is later.’

Comeback that wins heart

In 2015, Manisha announced to beat cancer and after that she gave a new direction to her career. After films like Dear Maya, Sanju, he made a comeback in 2024 with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s popular web series ‘Hiramandi’. His role was highly appreciated by critics and audiences. Manisha Koirala’s story is not just a star, but of a woman who made way with courage, honesty and self -confidence at every turn of life.
