Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan said on Wednesday that we cannot win today’s battle with tomorrow’s weapons. He said that the dependence on technology imported from abroad weakens our war preparations.

CDS said it is making us weak. Operation Sindoor showed us why it is necessary for us to get indigenous C-UAS (Counter-Anmand Aerial System) i.e. Anti Drone System. We have to invest for our safety.

Pakistan used united drones during Operation Sindoor. Most drones were killed. These could not harm any of our military or civil infrastructure.

The CDS said these things in the exhibition of UAV (Anmand Aerial Vehicle) and C-UAS (Counter-Anmand aerial system) at the Manekshaw Center in Delhi.

CDS said- Army revolutionized drones
On the use of drones in the war, General Chauhan said- I think drones are evalurators (evolutionists) and their use in the war has been very revolutionary. As their deployment and scope increased, the army revolutionized the drone. You have seen this in many of our fought wars.

He said- We cannot depend on imported technology, as it is important for our war and defense operation. Dependence on foreign techniques weakens our preparations. Reduces our ability to increase production. This leads to lack of important mechanical parts.

Said on 3 June- PAK planning failed in 8 hours
CDS General Chauhan said in a lecture on the topic ‘Future War and War’ at Pune University on June 3, “May 10, Pakistan had planned to bring India to the knee in 48 hours.” He attacked several places simultaneously, but his plan failed in 8 hours. This was then called for ceasefire for fear of big loss. We only targeted terrorist bases.

He had said that a few weeks before what happened in Pahalgam, Pakistan Army Chief General Aseem Munir had poisoned India and Hindus. What happened in Pahalgam was cruelty. Operation Sindoor aims to stop state sponsored terrorism from Pakistan.
