Cashless treatment facility will not be available on health insurance from 1 September! Customers of this company
If If you have bought a health insurance plan for your family from a special insurance company, then this news can be a bad news for you. Yes, Association of Hospitals and Health Institutions AHPI has advised its members Hospitals in North India to stop the facility of cashless treatment to the policyholders of Bajaj Alianz General Insurance from 1 September. Bajaj Allianj expressed surprise at the move, saying that he is always committed to the customers to give the best experience and is working with AHPI to solve the matter.
AHPI made this big charge against Bajaj Aaliyanz
The Association of Healthcare Providers-India (AHPI) alleged that Bajaj Allianz has fixed the payment rates to hospitals based on many years old contracts and refuses to change it according to the rising medical cost. AHPI, who represented 15,200 hospitals across the country, said that complaints like arbitrarily cuts against the health insurance company, delay in payment and prior-influence have also come to light. AHPI Director General Girdhar Gyani said that the increase in input costs in the medical sector leads to 7-8 percent inflation every year, so it is impossible to work with the old fee structure.
AHPI also sent notice to Care Health Insurance on 22 August
Girdhar Gyani said that due to lack of rates, the quality of care of patients may be affected. On this move of AHPI, Bajaj Allianz’s General Insurance Head (Health Insurance) Bhaskar Nerurkar said, “We are confident that we will work with AHPI and its member hospitals in a cordial manner and will reach the solution that will be in the best interest of our customers.” AHPI has sought a notice to 31 August by sending a notice to 31 August. If the answer is not received, the facility of cashless treatment for his policyholders will also be stopped.
