• Patna. The Bihar government has implemented a special assistance scheme to provide relief to the cattle rearers during the disaster. There is no need to panic if your animals disappear in floods or any other natural disaster, then there is no need to panic. Under this scheme of the Department of Animal and Fisheries Resources, financial assistance is provided to the affected cattle rearers, so that they can compensate for their livelihood loss.
  • Grant will be given in four categories
  • According to the guidelines issued by the department, grant on animal loss Four different categories Is divided into:
  • 1. Milk animals
  • Cow, buffalo etc. – Up to ₹ 37,500 per animal (for maximum 3 animals)
  • Goat, sheep, pig etc. – Up to ₹ 4,000 per animal (up to 30 animals)
  • 2. Loading animals
  • Bull, camel, horse etc. – ₹ 32,000 per animal (maximum 3 animals)
  • Calf, mule, pony, donkey etc. – ₹ 20,000 per animal (maximum 6 animals)
  • 3. Poultry (Poultry)
  • Grant at the rate of ₹ 100 per unit
  • Maximum ₹ 5,000 per family Assistance amount up to
  • 4. Fire in animal shed
  • If Animal shed in the house causes damage due to fireSo the grant will be available at the rate of ₹ 3,000 per shed
  • Note: A family will be given the benefit of grant in a maximum of three categories.
