CBI charge sheet against Satyapal Malik
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday filed a charge sheet against 6 people, including former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik, in the corruption case related to the Kiru Hydropower Project of Jammu and Kashmir. This case is about a disturbance in the Civil Works contract worth about Rs 2,200 crore.

In fact, Satyapal Malik had said on 17 October 2021 that he was offered a bribe of 300 crores as the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir. But they turned it down.

After the charge sheet was filed, Satyapal Malik said on social media that he is hospitalized and is not in a position to talk to anyone. He wrote that he is getting calls from well -wishers, but he is unable to answer.
After the CBI raid last year, Malik said, “CBI published my house but people against whom I had complained of corruption, they were not investigated.
