CBSE Class 10th Result 2025 Declared: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said on Tuesday that it will neither declare any meritorious list in the results of class 10th and 12th board examinations to avoid any unwell competition nor will it indicate the passing category of students. The results of the board’s class 10th and 12th examinations were declared on Tuesday.
More than 93 percent of the students passed the 10th grade examination, while the percentage passed in the 12th examination was 88.39 percent. The girls have won both the examinations against the boys. CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said that as per the decision taken by the board, no meritorious list has been prepared and declared by CBSE to avoid unhealthy competition among students. Apart from this, the board has not given its students first, second and third category. ‘
He said, “The board will issue meritorious certificates to the top 0.1 percent students who have scored the highest marks in subjects. The meritorious certificates will be available in the Digi-Locker of the students concerned. ”
The meritorious list of CBSE was also not announced in 2020 and 2021 as the board adopted an alternative assessment plan after the cancellation of some or all question papers due to Kovid-19. The board permanently discontinued the policy in 2022. Language edited by: Sudhir Sharma
