On August 19 at the Sevanth Day School in Ahmedabad, 10th student Nayan Santani was murdered by his own classmate. Now after 15 days, the CCTV footage of the day of the incident has surfaced. In the footage, Nayan is seen staggering from the entry gate with his hand on the stomach, staggering in the school.
He falls inside the school and falls on the ground. During this time, Nayan does not get any help from the school staff or security guards. Everyone stands and keeps watching. At this point, Nayan’s mother and another woman reach there and take her to a nearby hospital with an auto rickshaw. However, Nayan dies a few hours later.
There was no help for 7 minutes of the incident
This footage has shown that Nayan had been staggering for about 7 minutes after the stomach cutters. During this time he did not get immediate medical help. If he had helped him in time, he might have saved his life.
The school claims that the security guards and supervisors called 108 ambulances in time. The school also claims that the principal stayed in the hospital for 7-8 hours and 3 school employees also donated blood for Nayan.
Two and a half liters of blood was stored in the stomach
According to a medical report given by a team of 8 doctors, including 4 surgeons of Sardar Patel Hospital, a 1.5 cm wound was visible outside the stomach. During the surgery, it was found that the supply of blood in the body and two main veins that accumulate blood from the body were also cut.
Due to more bleeding, about two and a half liters of blood had accumulated in the stomach. Due to this, even after many efforts, his life could not be saved.
There was an old rivalry between the two students
Police investigation has revealed that a few days ago there was an argument between the two students. The class teacher also called both of them sorry from each other. However, the next day there was an argument between the two. In the police interrogation, the accused student confessed that he was coming to school with thermocol/paper cutter in the pocket for the incident.
To avenge this rivalry, the accused student attacked Nayan with a cutter as soon as school was discharged on Tuesday (August 19).
