Youth stabbed to death
A shocking incident has come to light from Mandya district of Karnataka. Three friends together brutally murdered a young man named Yogesh. This incident of murder was captured in CCTV camera. On Wednesday, the incident took place in the district Malavalli, where three drunk people stabbed Yogesh.
Yogesh had a fight with one
The incident occurred near Maganur Gate. Yogesh came to drink alcohol near Maganur Gate. Meanwhile, three people came there, who knew Yogesh. Last year, one of them had a fight with Yogesh. There was a debate in these four about the same thing and then three people brutally murdered Yogesh. Special teams have been formed to nab the accused by registering a case in this regard at Malwalli Rural Police Station.
Man murdered on charges of witchcraft
In another news, a person was murdered by a group of villagers on suspicion of witchcraft in Gajapati district of Odisha and buried the body in the forest. Police said the incident took place on the night of 28 July in Kusumpur village of Mohana police station area of the district. The deceased Karunakar Dalai used to work as a doctor. The case came to light when Karunakar’s relative Sabita lodged a complaint with the Mohana police station.
Sabita said, “At around 6:00 pm on July 28, some people called him (Karunakar) and took him with him. The villagers held a meeting with him at the Anganwadi center, after which he went missing. When I inquired, I was told that the villagers had beaten him.”
Boy died after giving medicine
Gajapati Superintendent of Police Jatindra Kumar Panda said that preliminary investigation has revealed that Karunakar used to give medicines like Ayurvedic to the villagers. Panda said, “About 15-20 days ago, Karunakar gave some medicines to a 12-year-old boy, which was bitten by the dog. However, the boy died a few days later.” He said, “Karunakar was beaten to death by a group of 10–12 people angry with the boy’s death and some similar incidents and buried his body in a nearby forest.” “Karunakar’s body was recovered from a forest. We have detained eight people and are questioning him,” he said. (input language)
