Celebs expressed displeasure over the Supreme Court’s order to remove stray dogs from the road
The Supreme Court has ordered the removal of stray dogs from the roads of Delhi-NCR. The court took automatic cognizance of the increasing attacks of stray dogs, increasing rabies cases and deaths from them. After this order, there has been a debate on social media. Dog Lovers says that this decision is cruelty towards stray dogs.
Bollywood celebs are also expressing displeasure over this order of the Supreme Court. These include many celebs like John Abraham, Jahnavi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan.
John Abraham wrote a letter to Cheat Justice of India BR Gawai and appealed to review the directions of the Supreme Court. He wrote, in many places the news has appeared that Honorable Justice J.B. Pardiwala and Honorable Justice R.K. The bench of Mahadevan has recently ordered that all the stray dogs of Delhi be removed from public places and sent to a shelter or far-flung areas.
John wrote, I hope you will agree that they are not a stray, but part of the community, which many people have special attachment and love, especially the people of Delhi. This directive is against the previous decisions of the apex court on the Animal Birth Control (ABC) Rules, 2023 and the issue, which has always been supported by the ‘systematic sterilization program’.
Jahnavi wrote on Insta Story, he calls it a danger. We call it beating. Today the Supreme Court says that the dogs should be removed and closed from every street of Delhi-NCR. Neither sunlight, nor freedom, nor will they be able to see their acquaintances, whom they meet every morning.
He wrote, but these are not just ‘stray dogs’, these are the ones who sit outside your tea shop waiting for biscuits, guard the shopkeepers at night, welcome them by shaking the tail when the children return from school, and there is a little warmth in a cold, rude city.
Jahnavi wrote, security of people is necessary, but it can be resolved in human ways. Like large -scale sterilization, community feeding zone and adoption plans, not to imprison them in shelter. A society that cannot protect its voice is losing its soul. Today these are dogs. Tomorrow … who will be? Raise your voice, because they do not have their voice.
Bhumi Pednekar wrote, “My Bruno Baba came in our life when he was only four months old. He was badly injured and injured. The jaw was uprooted, the tail was burnt… still his encouragement was like a warrior. All this was done by the young people who enjoyed harassing an innocent. It is not their fault… It is our fault, because we could not awaken the sense of sympathy, co-existence and kindness in us.
Bhumi wrote, hearing the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, in which 3,00,000 dogs have been allowed to be lifted and kept in a shelter in Delhi, I am not able to stop myself from thinking about Bruno… and also about all the Indians that have not known anything other than the roads that they call their homes.
The actress wrote, “For decades, those who feed the street dogs have been advocates, feed them, take care of their wounds, get them sterilized and get them vaccinated with their pockets. Instead of punishing or taking care of their existence, I hope we will create more strong reforms and arrangements.
In our traditions, Dogs Guard Bhairav Baba’s Temple and Are Fed on Amavasya for Blessings. They’ve grown up on our streets, guarding shops, waiting outstide our doors, barking away thieves.

In our traditions, dogs guard Bhairav Baba’s temple and they are fed food for blessings on Amavasya. They grew up in our streets, wait outside our door, drive away the thieves.
