When will the doors of which dham open?
Chardham in Uttarakhand includes Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham. On April 30 this year, the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri will open at 10.30 am on the day of Akshaya Tritiya and the Chardham Yatra will also start. After this, Kedarnath Dham will open on May 2 at 7.00 am and Badrinath’s doors will open on May 4 at 6 am. According to the tourism department, more than 20 lakh pilgrims have already registered their registrations, including 7.48 lakh Kedarnath, 5.74 lakh Badrinath, 3 lakh Yamunotri and 3 Gangotri.
Registration will have to be done
If you want to travel to Chardham, then first you have to register yourself on the Chardham Yatra Portal Registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in of the Uttarakhand government. If for some reason you are not able to register online, then the government has provided offline registration facility, just you have to go to the registration counter, which are built in Haridwar, Dehradun, Rishikesh, Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi districts. The department said that this time more than 50 offline registration centers have been set up. During the registration, you will be asked for Aadhaar card, mobile number and paper related papers, without its registration is not possible.
How to go and where to stay?
If you want to travel to Chardham from your home, then you can talk to a travel agency about it. At the same time, if you want to start this journey from Haridwar or Rishikesh, then you will get a lot of convenience. You get many options for Haridwar and Rishikesh for Chardham Yatra, in which you can get the facility from government bus to private taxi according to your budget. However, if you go by bus, then this journey becomes very cheap. The journey will start from Yamunotri, where both bus and taxi are available. If you talk about stay, you will find Dharamshala and hotels to stay in every dham, in such a situation you can get these hotels very comfortably around the temple. This whole journey from the bus will make you get around 6 thousand, while this journey will be around 40,000 by taxi.
Apart from this, the government also provides a helicopter facility for Chardham, for which you may have to pay from 6 thousand to 8 thousand, that too for one side in one dham. If the budget of the entire helicopter is seen, then it may have a package of around 2.5 lakhs.
At the same time, if you are a biker, then you can also get a rental bike from Haridwar and Rishikesh, which you can get at 1500 per day.
You will get the facility of hotel, home stay on the way to stay for stay. Vehicles on the mountains do not run at night, so it would be better to find a hotel in the evening.
How much will it take?
According to an estimate, Yamunotri and Gangotri travel and stay expenses will be around 12 thousand, while Kedarnath’s journey and stay expenses can reach 15 thousand alone. At the same time, in Badrinath, around 12 thousand you can spend your expenses. Remember that this cost is for buses and taxis. Devotees traveling by helicopter may cost up to 2.5 lakhs.
