Lucknow : Today, on the third day of Chhath Puja, a huge crowd of devotees has gathered on the banks of Gomti river in Lucknow. CM Yogi Adityanath offered Arghya to the setting sun at Gomti Ghat located in Laxman Mela Park today at 4:30 pm. Along with CM Yogi, Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak was also seen giving half to Surya. During Ardh, about 10 Pandits made this great festival successful by offering Ardh to the setting Sun God along with the conch sound and the CM and Deputy CM.
Special preparations have been made at Laxman Mela Park and other ghats for this great festival of folk faith. Along with decorating the ghats, security arrangements have also been tightened. CCTV cameras have been installed by the administration and surveillance is being done through drones so that no untoward incident occurs. On the occasion of this great festival, the ghats have been freshly painted and many decorative materials have been used to make them attractive. Has been created. Devotees had reached the ghats since morning to prepare their altars.
Cultural program was organized
The cultural program started at 3 pm. More than 150 artists from across the country have performed in these programs. This program will continue throughout the night and devotees will also be entertained till morning. Like every year, this time too thousands of people are reaching Laxman Mela Park so that they can be a part of this great festival.
