Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis praised Kesari Veer, said- not just cinema, this is the history of India
The film ‘Kesari Veer’ starring Sunil Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, Suraj Pancholi and Akanksha Sharma is coming close to its release. Prior to the premiere of the film, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis shared his views about this historical drama.
Devendra Fadnavis said that he has seen the teaser of the film and appealed to the audience to watch the film on the big screen. He said, Kesari Veer is not just a cinema, it is the history of India. The Somnath war that took place in the 14th century AD was led by young and anonymous warrior Hamirji Gohil to protect the Somnath temple.
Fadnavis said, the film is based on the heroic story of the same brave warriors. I myself have seen its teaser and I found it very impressive. This film clearly reminds us of the strict need to be alert to our history, and I urge everyone to go to the theater and see it.
This epic war saga based on Dharma and Somnath temple shows Sunil Shetty as fearless warrior Vegda ji, while Suraj Pancholi will be seen in the role of Veer Hamirji Gohil. Along with him, Akanksha Sharma will also be seen in the role of a heroine named Rajal. This trio is confronted with Zafar, which Vivek Oberoi has played – a villain who forces people to convert on the basis of religion.
The film led by strong actors like Sunil Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, Suraj Pancholi and Akanksha Sharma is directed by Prince Dhiman and is produced by Kannu Chauhan under the banner of Chauhan Studios. There will be a tremendous confluence of action, spirit and drama in Kesari Veer. The film will be released in theaters on May 23.
