Beijing: During the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in China, India’s tough stance on terrorism has also forced China to stand against terrorists. China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi said in a meeting with Pakistan Foreign Minister Isaac Dar on Wednesday that if Islamabad makes an anti-terrorism effort, China’s support for this move will continue to continue. During this, Wang Yi also expressed concern about the safety of Chinese citizens and projects working in Pakistan.
China said-will end terror together with Pakistan
According to an official statement released by Beijing, in this meeting held in Tianjin city, Wang Yi said that China will continue to cooperate with Pakistan till the full end of terrorism. He emphasized that the Chinese government is concerned about the safety of its citizens in Pakistan and is confident that Islamabad will continue to take every possible step in this direction. Wang Yi, terming the friendship of China-Pakistan as “unique and the test of time” said that regular high-level meetings between the two countries reflect the depth of strategic partnership.
CPEC was also discussed, but fear of India
During this meeting, China and Pakistan also discussed the ambitious project of Jinping, China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). But India remains a hindrance in this desire. India has always raised the movement to thwart this move of China. Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry stated in a post on the social media platform ‘X’ that there was widespread discussion between the two leaders on major issues related to mutual interests including China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and multilateral cooperation.
