Beijing: Amid the tariff controversy with the US, China has been shocked by the news of PM Modi’s possible Beijing visit. China has termed this possible visit of PM Modi as a positive step towards improving and strengthening the relationship between the two countries. China’s Foreign Ministry on Friday welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s possible visit to attend the Tianjin Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to be held later this month.

When will PM Modi go to China

If PM Modi goes to China, then this will be his first visit after a gap of seven years. It is being told that Prime Minister Modi can visit China to attend the annual summit of SCO later this month. However, no party has officially confirmed this. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said that China welcomes Prime Minister Modi for the SCO Tianjin Summit.

All sides will show solidarity

China said, “We believe that with the combined efforts of all the parties, the Tianjin Summit will be a confluence of solidarity, friendship and meaningful consequences.” SCOs in a new phase of high quality development with more solidarity, coordination, mobility and productivity. Guo said that leaders of more than 20 countries, including all member countries of SCO and heads of 10 international organizations, will participate in the relevant programs. He said that SCO Tianjin Summit will be the largest summit since the establishment of SCO. Russia’s President Vladimir Putin can also participate in it. (Language)
