Conflict in two nuclear-rich countries for the first time- CDS
CDS General Anil Chauhan, while addressing a think tank on Tuesday, also mentioned the military conflict between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack. He said that this is probably the first time when countries rich in two nuclear weapons have been directly involved in the conflict.
What did CDS say on China-Pakistan?
Chief of Defense Staff General Anil Chauhan of India also mentioned the alliance between Pakistan and China and the same interest towards India. CDS Chauhan said that Pakistan has acquired 70 to 80 percent of its weapons and unifications from China in the last 5 years. Chinese military companies also have commercial accounts in Pakistan.
What threat did CDS tell for India?
Addressing the program, CDS Anil Chauhan has said that the economic crisis in the countries of the Indian Ocean region has given the ‘external powers’ an opportunity to increase its influence. This can cause weaknesses for India.
