China’s Foreign Minister on a tour of India, Jaishankar said- Differences should not become a dispute
Indian Foreign Minister S.K. Jaishankar’s meeting
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi arrived in Delhi on a two -day visit to India on Monday, where he Indian Foreign Minister S.K. Important talks with Jaishankar and National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval. His visit is part of an attempt to improve relations between the two countries after the deadly struggle in the Galwan Valley in 2020.
Jaishankar spoke of mutual honor
Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar gave a clear message during a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi that India-China relations should be based on three principles of mutual respect, mutual sensitivity and mutual interest. Jaishankar also underlined that differences should not arise between the two countries.
In his initial comments, Jaishankar said, “Our relationships have seen a difficult period, and now we want to move forward. This requires a clear and creative approach from both sides.” He said that variations should not cause dispute, and competition should not be changed to conflict. S. Jaishankar described this meeting as a good opportunity to review bilateral relations and exchange ideas on global status.
Dialogue between Doval and Wang on border dispute
The main objective of the Chinese Foreign Minister’s visit to India is to pursue the next round of Special Representatives (SR) on the border issue. Wang and NSA Ajit Doval of India have been nominated as special representatives for this conversation.
Wang on Monday launched a conversation on the Seema issue with NSA Doval. There will be a new version of the Special Representative Dialogue between the two leaders at 11 am on Tuesday morning, in which methods to reduce tension on the border will be discussed. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Wang will also meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 5:30 pm on Tuesday evening.
Travel between tension in India-US relations
This journey is taking place at a time when there is some tension in the relations between India and America. US President Donald Trump has doubled the fee on Indian goods to 50 percent, including an additional fine of 25 percent on the purchase of Russian crude oil. (input language)
