China has completely changed the picture of Modern Warfare. Chinese scientists have made a mosquito -size military drone, which can cause great havoc in the war. This military can carry out the reconnaissance mission by hiding the drone surveillance. During the war, the Chinese army can monitor the enemy with the help of this small drone. This micro drone has been created by the Robotics Lab of the National University of Defense Technology (NUDT) in China.
China made a wonder
According to the Chinese Media South China Morning Post (SCMP) report, the researcher of NUDT’s robotics lab located in Hunan province of China has prepared this compact drone for military and defense. According to the report, the size and design of this drone is similar to a mosquito, due to which it is also being called ‘Mosquito Drone’. The prototype of this micro drone was displayed on China’s Central Television Military Channel CCTV 7.
A researcher of NUDT told Chinese media that it is a kind of robot, called miniature bionic robot. It has two small wings, which look like a mosquito wing. Apart from this, three lags as thin hair are found in it. This drone can be controlled through a smartphone. Its length is just 1.3 cm.
Can hide many tasks
According to the report, this military drone can come in many types of work during war. It can be used for many types of military operations. This mosquito drone will be enabled in especially in executing surveillance and reconnaissance missions. Apart from this, it can also help in locating the Survivors of Emergency. It has a variety of sensors including rubble for navigation, which can measure the condition of the environment, air quality, water quality etc.
However, there are many types of flaws in this micro drone. The capacity of payload in it is very low or limited. Apart from this, the flight time of this drone is also very low. It cannot take a long flight because of the short battery. However, battery life can be improved to sensor technology etc. Also, AI based features can also be added to it, which will further improve this prototype.
