Chinese apps Tiktok, WeChat and Aliexpress have difficulties. These three Chinese apps are accused of stealing the data of users. Austria’s Advocasi Privacy Group has complained against these Chinese apps in the European Union. These apps are not able to complete the privacy compliance of the European Union, due to which the sword of being banned is also hanging on them. According to the European Union policy, the user gets the option to download their data.

Violation of privacy

According to the report, these three Chinese apps do not have the option to download data, which is a major violation of privacy. Most social media apps get these options. Noyb AdvocC Group said that many Chinese apps do not have a tool to download the personal data of users. Apart from this, these three Chinese apps specialize in collecting many information of users.

Let us tell you that Noyb AdvocC Group is constantly raising voice against data privacy against tech companies. The privacy group has filed a complaint against 6 Chinese companies. These Chinese apps are accused of transferring the data of users to China. NOYB is known for sued American tech companies such as Apple, Alphabet etc.

Chinese companies have not been accused of stealing user data for the first time. Many times users’ data is wrongly stored. They can be banned in Europe after Chinese apps are prosecuted. Most of these apps have been banned in India. Since 2020, Chinese apps have been banned.
