Emphasis on the importance of peace and harmony on the border
In the information given by the PMO, it has been told that PM Modi has emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and harmony along the border during the meeting with China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi. He has reiterated India’s commitment to a fair, appropriate and mutually acceptable solution to resolve the border dispute. PM Modi will meet Xi Jinping
Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked President Xi Jinping and expressed his approval for the invitation to the SCO summit. He expressed support for China to the chairmanship of the SCO Summit and said he was keen to meet President Xi Jinping in Tianjin.
