Chitrangada Singh expressed happiness over joining Battle of Galwan, said- Salman Khan fulfilled his promise
Chitrangada Singh has been selected as the lead actress in Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s film Battle of Galwan. The film is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film is based on the India-China clash in the Galwan Valley in 2020.
Already people were very excited about this film and now the enthusiasm of Chitrangada has increased. Chitrangada Singh has also expressed happiness over sharing the screen for the first time with Salman Khan.
Chitrangada Singh said, it is very special for me to be a part of the Battle of Galwan. A few years ago, in the remake of a Marathi film, I was going to work with Salman sir, which Mahesh Manjrekar was directing. But that film could never start.
He said, I still remember today, Salman sir then said, ‘Next time you will work together.’ And now after years he played the same thing. Like he says, ‘Once I committed the commitment, then I do not even listen to myself.’
Chitrangada Singh also praised director Apoorva Lakhia and said, he could have cast a big star even if he wanted, but he expressed confidence in me. I appreciate this faith and I am proud that I am part of an important and powerful story like Battle of Galwan.
This role is very special for Chitrangada. His father was a colonel in the army and has now retired. She has grown up listening to bravery, sacrifice for the country and patriotic stories since childhood. Battle of Galwan is going to be one of the most effective films dedicated to India’s army in the coming years with patriotic story and powerful artists.
