More than 300 flights were canceled every day
According to the news, the minister will meet the airline representatives to discuss various issues. Special information about the agenda of the meeting could not be found immediately. Security measures were extended in view of the conflict and at least 32 airports in the northern and western parts of the country were temporarily closed. On Monday, these airports were reopened for civil flights. The flight was disrupted due to the closure of the airports, canceling more than 300 flights every day by the airlines.
Use long routes for international flights
In addition, Indian airlines have used long routes for international flights from northern parts of the country to western countries due to the closure of Pakistan airspace for Indian carriers. After the aircraft shutdown, the ministry had sought input from airlines on potential operations and financial impacts. Airlines have already presented their inputs. Meanwhile, the operator of Delhi Airport said on Tuesday that the operation remains normal.
However, due to the changing circumstances of the airspace and the safety measures extended by the Civil Aviation Security Bureau, some flight programs may be affected and the safety process time may be longer.
