Cleaning all drains, drains, sewerage before rain, active of administration

In Faridabad, to deal with the problem of waterlogging before the monsoon, the administration gave necessary guidelines with a coordination meeting with the people of rural and urban areas. Councilor Sarpanch and Corporation Mayor discussed necessary suggestions and problems. Deputy Commissioner Vikram Singh said that all the concerned departments are engaged in ensuring that rain water does not accumulate in the rest of the city including any national highway. Giving this information, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Vikram Singh gave necessary guidelines on Thursday with a joint meeting with the Municipal Corporation, FMDA, NHAI, PWD, councilors and sarpanches. Mayor Praveen Joshi was also present on the occasion.
Action plan to clean drains will be shared with councilors
Mayor Praveen Joshi told all the councilors and sarpanchs that wherever there is encroachment on the drains in your areas, get it removed with the administration and do not allow new encroachments at any place. Everyone contributes in making the city clean. For this, the action plan prepared by FMDA and Municipal Corporation will be shared with the councilors in advance. According to the councilor plan, you can provide their mojudge and necessary suggestions to the department.
While reviewing pre -monsoon preparations, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Vikram Singh has instructed the officials to complete the cleaning of all drains, drains and sewerage before the rain. He should work with all the municipal bodies, water supply, urban development and public works departments mutual coordination and complete the work of cleaning all drains and sewerage lines in time. He assessed the current status of de-sylting (silt extract) of all the main drains. In this, along with increasing the work and tendering process so far, he took feedback of hot line and gennset related works of power supply for backup as well as to backup. He said that wherever the work of cleaning the drains is going on in the city and rural areas, complete vigilance should be taken and strict adherence to security standards should be done. He said that ensure barricating on both sides of the drains, so that the possibility of any type of accident can be prevented. Given the depth and width of the drains, the strength and height of bargaining should be fixed, so that the safety of passers by passing there, especially children and the elderly can be ensured.
MCF officers will monitor the disposal in the rain
Deputy Commissioner Vikram Singh said that MCF officials will keep an eye on all the disposals during the rainy season. In this, in addition to the smooth arrangement of genset and motor, ensure information about the status of power supply. This will improve the system in time. He said that if the officers keep an eye on the system at their level, then it will help in reducing the chances of disturbance and trouble in the work. In this way, public interest can be completed on priority basis. During the meeting, the concerned departmental officials said that the work of repairing drains and making drains start smoothly. Cleaning work is going on in many places with the help of Poklen, JCB and suction machines.
Public representatives will be present at the time of cleaning local drains, will give feedback of work
Deputy Commissioner Vikram Singh said that during the cleaning work of drains and drains running in the city, councilors of the concerned area should be present on the spot. He said that the participation of public representatives is very important for ensuring the quality of cleaning work and no inconvenience to the public. While present during the cleaning, the councilors should not only monitor the work, but if there is any problem or chaos, give it to the authorities immediately, so that there can be a quick resolution. He said that wherever encroachment on drains should be found in rural areas, it should be removed with immediate effect. It is also the responsibility of the councilors and panchayat representatives of the concerned field to play an active role in such cases. He said that along with the removal of encroachment, the villagers should also be made aware that they should not do any construction work on the drains again.
Mayor and Deputy Commissioner joint appeal to cooperate in Swachh Faridabad campaign
Mayor Praveen Joshi and Deputy Commissioner Vikram Singh have also appealed to the common citizens not to fill garbage in polythene in drains and maintain cleanliness around them. He said that till public participation is not done, this effort will remain incomplete. Also, he has instructed the officials to make the common man aware against polythene.
Additional Municipal Corporation Commissioner Saloni Sharma, SDM Barkhal Trilok Chand, SDM Faridabad Shikha, SDM Ballabhgarh Mayank Bhardwaj, newly elected councilors, sarpanch and many other concerned officials were present in the meeting.
