One eyewitness told- When the rain intensified while going from Jammu to Srinagar, I stopped at Ramban. I checked in the hotel at around 10 pm. At around 3 o’clock in the night, I woke up in the midst of noise. When I came down from the hotel, I saw that the water was fast filling upwards.
The staff below had left the hotel and ran away and all of us were trapped. Pointing to the hotel, eyewitness said that the hotel is three storeys. Its two floors are buried in the debris below. This third floor is visible. About 8-10 vehicles are buried. I took a new car 15 days ago, he is also buried in debris.
At that time we 15 people were stranded up. Some hotel staff which was on the upper floor was also trapped. The front road was closed. Somehow we all left from behind the hotel and saved our lives. Eyewitness told
