The sudden cloudburst in the Jagatkhana area adjoining Rampur, around 6 pm on Saturday evening, has caused heavy havoc. According to the local people, this natural disaster caused a huge amount of debris, causing many vehicles to flow. According to preliminary estimates, about 10 vehicles are feared to be flowing.
Traffic disrupted due to floods and debris
Eyewitnesses said that at around 6 pm, there was a sudden flood of water and debris with strong roar and torrential rains. This flood of water shed the vehicles parked on the roadside on seeing it. Traffic has been completely disrupted due to floods and debris in the affected area.
Rescue work started
Immediate relief and rescue operations have been started by the local people and the administration. Local police is present on the spot. Tourists have been appealed not to go out of the hotel.
