Amid speculation of leadership change in the Congress government, BJP leader R.K. Ashok has given a big statement from Karnataka. Recently, CM Siddaramaiah had said to complete a five -year term as Chief Minister. Despite this, R. Ashok said that the Chief Minister is scheduled to change in October or November. He said that all the MLAs of the Congress party aspire to become the Chief Minister.

Ashok challenged DK Shivkumar

BJP leader R. Ashok has described the Congress as a divided house. He has claimed that Deputy CM DK Shivkumar is indicating to gain power. Ashok said- “DK Shivkumar is pointing to grabbing power. I challenge him to declare that Siddaramaiah will remain the CM of the state till 2028. We will accept it as a ‘sixth guarantee’ and will remain silent.”

What did CM Siddaramaiah say?

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has also made a statement on speculation in the state. He said on Wednesday that he would continue as CM during the entire tenure of 5 years. Siddaramaiah said that the Congress party is united and the party’s government will be strong like a rock for 5 years. On the question of staying CM for 5 years, Siddaramaiah said, “Yes, I will stay.
