According to sources, in a meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence a few hours before the stampede on Wednesday morning, Govindraj insisted on allowing RCB’s ceremony and honor ceremony. He also advised the Chief Minister to attend the honor ceremony held in the Vidhan Sabha. However, later the political advisor of CM gave some more information in the media. According to sources, it was said that this duality disturbed CM Siddaramaiah and in such a situation the political advisor Govindraj was removed from the post.
