Siddaramaiah taking big action.
There has been a continuous political uproar in Bengaluru since the stampede on Wednesday. BJP and other opposition parties are constantly questioning the Siddaramaiah government. Meanwhile, CM Siddaramaiah has suspended several police officers. Now another major action has been taken on Friday. According to the notification issued by the Government of Karnataka, K.K. Govindraj has been freed from the post of political secretary of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah with immediate effect. However, it is not yet clear whether the action has been taken in the case of Bengaluru stampede or in any other case.
Officials of other company including RCB arrested
The IP Chinnaswamy stamped outside Bangalore on Wednesday during the ceremony held after the RCB victory at IPL 2025. 11 people died in this stampede and a large number of people were injured. Police had registered a case against RCB franchise, DNA Entertainment Private Limited, Karnataka State Cricket Association in this case. Now the police have arrested four officials of DNA, company managing RCB and organizing the event in this case.
