Let me tell you, Cochin Shipyard had obtained a standalone net profit of Rs 285 crore for the fourth quarter of FY 2025. This reflects an increase of about 8 percent from a net profit of Rs 265 crore recorded in the same period of the last financial year.

Shares of Rama Steel Tubes also rise

Shares of Rama Steel Tubes also performed vigorously in Thursday’s trading. The share price of Rama Steel Tubes on BSE Sensex closed at Rs 13.21 at the end of trading with a big jump of 12.91 percent. Rama Steel Tubes Limited has invested in renewable energy through a 10% stake in the 225 MW solar project under the PM Kusum Yojana.

The company’s shares have also got support from this today. PPA has been done at the rate of 3.1/units for 25 years with MSEDCL for this project in Maharashtra. This ensures stable returns. If we look at the company’s previous performance, the share price has gained 19.01 percent in the last one week.
